Design Process (top)
Once both parties accept the proposal, the design process begins.
• Project Planning & Outline – During this first step, we develop a detailed plan for the project, which includes a comprehensive outline, listed project needs, and timelines. We review the plan with you and make necessary adjustments.
• Format Design – During this step, we create a unique design for your project that represents your company's image and lays out the content in an easy to follow format that ensures better retention of information. We will work with you until you are satisfied with the design and layout element.
• Content Development – We have two types of clients. The first are those who have content already and are looking to improve the look and feel of their materials. For this type of client, we take your raw content, streamline it, and format it in the new layout.
The second type is the client who has an idea of their needs, but currently has no written content. For this client, we develop content for the project through building on standard materials, working one-on-one to develop company specific information through phone and email dialog, and in some circumstances site visits.
• Review, Respond and Feedback - We work closely with you during the content development process and will send you portions of the document as it is developed. This allows you to review, respond, and submit feedback throughout the entire process.
• Document Formatting – Once the content has been developed and/or edited, it will be formatted in the newly designed layout.
• Professional Proofing & Editing – All materials are sent through a professional editor for a final proofing and editorial review.
• Project Delivery - Once you are satisfied with the final product. The Manual Solution will provide you with a clean and dated electronic copy of your document. At the completion of the project, you will receive the working files of your project and will be able to make changes to the document for future revisions.
